Training College Sundsvall
Emhart Glass has newly reopened the modernized and rebuilt training college in Sundsvall, Sweden
The Training College is on 130 m2 with airy, bright and calm rooms and consists of:
- a reception area
- an office area
- a smaller class room mainly for training on FlexIS
- a larger class room
- an Internet corner
The “hands-on” training facility on 230 m2 has EF, AIS and NIS sections as well as individual mechanisms available.
Factory based training
Emhart Glass staffs and maintains in Sundsvall a factory-based training school for the exclusive purpose of conducting product and process training for its global customer base for Hot End Products.
The factory school facilitates the training for customers who are purchasing equipment for the first time and who prefer to complete their training while conducting acceptance tests at the factory. Courses consist of classroom and laboratory sessions designed to train the student to operate, troubleshoot and maintain Emhart Glass products or to familiarize the student with glass forming processes, i.e. LWBB and NNPB technology. Where possible, lab sessions are enhanced by exercises conducted on the customer's own equipment.
The courses are conducted in English; however, native language courses are available upon request. Courses are scheduled upon request and are customized to facilitate special customer needs and are led by experienced instructors.

Field Training
In addition to the training courses conducted at the training centers, Emhart Glass offers "Field Training" or sessions conducted at a customer's factory or in any location of customer choice. The same in-house classroom lectures are used for these remote training exercises. As can be accommodated in the field, laboratory sessions are performed using equipment supplied by Emhart Glass.
Course outlines are available to the customer upon request. In addition to standard courses, special custom courses can be developed to facilitate specific needs.
(Courses are priced on a per student basis with the exception of Field Training courses which are priced on a quotation basis.
